Objectives: 
Students will develop their teamwork capabilities by preparing a mini-project focused on Mediterranean climate variability (past, present and future). They will work in mixed groups alongside students from the other partner institutions.

Active Pedagogy:
Students will benefit from hands-on practical experience throughout the 5 days of the event, under the supervision of international instructors.

Methodology:
Teams will learn to reconstruct paleoclimate proxy data based on lab work, and to produce simulated output data by running climate models. They will be given help to analyze the obtained climate data and to compare it to observations, which will allow them to brief the other teams on their preliminary findings. Teams will then write a short scientific report and give an oral presentation of their results.
